The service allows anyone to get a professional headshot photo from the comfort of their own home, at an affordable price. Simply take a picture in your home with your smartphone (following the instructions provided), and the fantastic editor team at Heroic works their magic. The result is a professional headshot, ready for LinkedIn or your resume.
We built the back end systems for this project, which include:
Building a database, and structuring it with long-term growth in mind.
Creating a system to distribute raw headshots to photo editors.
Building a photo upload system that interfaces between various 3rd party utilities.
